Book #11: Indian Slavery in Colonial America

There are going to be a lot of these here in a row because a) I’m reading them for work; and b) I read several at the start of the year and forgot to count them here. They are for work, but they are by no means a slog. On the contrary, so far they have been crucial to one of the most interesting intellectual forays of my life – at least in recent memory. They aren’t just teaching me about a too-hidden history; they’re also upending much of what I thought I knew about the history of the United States. This is a germinal work.
