Book #9 – Digital Minimalism

My friend lent me this, and it took me forever to return even though I devoured it in a single sitting. I’ll confess that a lot of it wasn’t especially new to me – much of my professional work in recent years has focused on digital literacy, information overload and social networks. I’m no longer on Facebook or Instagram (though I’m still on Twitter), and my life is 100% the better for leaving those ravenous data harvesting machines platforms. In any case, this is good on the cognitive science behind digital minimalism and provides easy-to-follow strategies for people who need help dealing with modernity’s constant assault.
