Kate Shuster

Alabama based with New Mexico roots. Quit knitting and cut the cord (and the Netflix, and the Hulu, etc.) to focus on reading (and writing, and music) in 2019. It’ll probably be mostly fiction here, but I’m open to whatever (as well as any recommendations). Hoping to read a lot from my own collection, with lots of long-neglected favorites as well as my overly long queue. The writers most featured on my shelves include (not in order, and certainly not exclusive): China Mieville, Jonathan Lethem, A.M. Homes, Jhumpa Lahiri, Don DeLillo, John Steinbeck, Thomas Pynchon, Lauren Groff, David Foster Wallace, David Mitchell, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and Haruki Murakami. And yes, audio books and graphic novels (and trade editions) count as books. On Twitter @kateshuster
